Megan Hofmann completed a BS in CS at Colorado State University, Fort Collins in 2017. As a part of that work she completed an undergraduate research internship at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County in the summer of 2014, as well as an extended undergraduate research residency (2015-2017) at Carnegie Mellon. She officially started work in the Human-Computer Interaction PhD program at CMU in 2017. Her research has focused on the intersections of digital fabrication, healthcare, and disability justice. She has been committed to these topics since beginning undergraduate research at Colorado State in 2013. Megan is a disabled student, who has uniquely applied these personal experiences to her research and service work.
