Neerja graduated as a dual Bachelors in Electrical Engineering & Theater Arts and a Masters in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science from MIT in 2018. She was a Siebel Scholar Class of 2018 and founded the electrical engineering undergrad club at MIT. She then worked as a design engineer at LivaNova, a global medical device company in neuromodulation. Neerja is now pursuing a Ph.D. in EECS at UC Berkeley. Her research focuses on Computational Imaging: the codesign of computation and hardware to push the limits of optical imaging for medical diagnostics and environmental monitoring. She is an active volunteer with the Bay Area Disc Association as a youth ultimate frisbee coach.
