TIME Magazine Names Siebel Scholar and Google CEO Sundar Pichai One of the World’s Most Influential People

Listed in the “Titan” category of the TIME 100 list, Pichai (UPenn Business ’02) is an engineer who became CEO of Google in 2015. Earlier in his career at Google, Pichai helped develop Google Chrome and Google Drive.

“Engineers use science to solve problems and make things. Engineering applies a combination of logic and intuition to problem solving. It’s a way of thinking that leaves one well suited to run a company. We are all watching for what he produces next,” wrote Nye in his profile of Pichai.
