About

Kijung Shin is a Ph.D. candidate in the Computer Science Department at Carnegie Mellon University, advised by Christos Faloutsos. His research interests include large-scale graph mining, anomaly detection, and recommender systems. Kijung is a recipient of the Korea Foundation for Advanced Studies (KFAS) scholarship, and he has published over 20 papers in top data mining conferences and journals. Kijung received his M.S. in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University in 2017 and his B.S. in Computer Science and Engineering from Seoul National University in 2015. He was a research intern at LinkedIn Inc., Mountain View, in May-August 2017 and May-August 2018.
